Factory Gravel Team: 2025 season opener
La Santa Vall: PROTECTIVE Factory Team, a successful start to the young 2025 season
The PROTECTIVE Factory Team put in an outstanding performance at the gravel race in La Santa Vall. On the demanding course, which offered the riders technical challenges as well as scenic highlights, the team riders were rewarded with strong results.
The first stage was particularly exciting, with the PROTECTIVE Factory Team riders impressing with a strong result: Tim Wollenberg was in outstanding form and took 3rd place, Luca Dreßler secured 10th place. Both team riders mastered the demanding course outstandingly and proved their strong level of form. Their placings at the end of the first round suggested an important role for the team in the overall standings.
At the end of the race both Tim and Luca were in the top 10 of the overall standings: Tim Wollenberg took 6th place and Luca Dreßler 9th place. The consistently high level of performance and the placings clearly show that the two can compete with the best in gravel.
In the women’s race, Theresa Rindler-Bachl, the reigning Austrian gravel champion, started for the PROTECTIVE Factory Team. She was not only a strong competitor but also showed impressively how high the level of women’s gravel racing has become. With her talent and experience she impressed spectators and rivals alike. Theresa was an important part of the competition throughout the race and achieved a respectable placing in the women’s overall standings.
