A men’s cycling rain jacket is waterproof, lets water vapour escape and is cut so that it does not pull tight in the riding position. Here you will find all PROTECTIVE® rain jackets in the men’s cut, while the women’s models carry a W in the name, from the entry-level model to the 3-layer jacket. Also the P-Free Monkey all-weather suit for mud and persistent rain.

How to find the right rain jacket
Commuting and everyday riding
Short distances, changeable weather, often with a backpack: the P-Rain II with its relaxed fit goes over a jersey or sweater and is quickly out of the bag.
Long tours and persistent rain
If you ride for hours in the rain, you need a higher water column and more vapour transfer. The 3-layer models P-Space Age and P-Cloudburst reach 20,000 mm and 30,000 g/m² in 24 hours.
Sporty on gravel and road
The P-Cloudburst is stretchy and cut close to the body, so nothing flaps in the wind.
Mud off-road
When spray comes from all sides, a jacket is not enough. The P-Free Monkey is jacket and pants in one piece.
Sizes and fit
Depending on the model, the men’s models come in sizes XS to 5XL. The measurements are in the size chart on the product. The all-weather suit is cut unisex, in XS to 3XL. You will find the models in the other cut in the women’s cycling rain jackets.
Models with a PFAS-free finish are marked on the product. To go with them: the cycling rain pants to wear over your cycling shorts and everything else in cycling rainwear.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the men’s rain jacket and the other model?
The cut and the sizes. Material, water column and seams are the same in both variants of the P-Rain II, P-Day N’Nite, P-Cloudburst and P-Space Age.
What water column do I need for cycling?
For commuting and short showers the P-Rain II with 5,000 mm is made for the job. For long rides in the rain or riding with a backpack, choose the 3-layer models with 20,000 mm.
Does the hood fit over the helmet?
On the P-Space Age and the P-Free Monkey all-weather suit it does, as the hoods are cut for it.
How do I care for my rain jacket?
Use a little detergent, no fabric softener, and close the zips. Details in the washing guide.
