Active Fit: comfortable room, still close to the body
On the trail, long pants take hits from roots and pedal pins and have to move with every pedal stroke. The P-Engine 143 for men is made for that.
Men’s long MTB pants with PFAS-free finish
The pants combine two outer fabrics: 88% polyamide and 12% elastane, and 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. The fabric is stretchy and has a PFAS-free finish. Dedicated inserts sit at high-wear areas, stretch inserts where the pants work while you pedal.
Ergonomic fit with ratchet closure
The ergonomic fit, the pre-shaped knees and the higher-cut back waistband give you plenty of freedom of movement on the trail. The ratchet closure and the additional flat waist adjustment set the width. The silicone elastic at the back waistband supports a stable fit on the descent.
Zip pockets for phone and keys
The two zip pockets hold small items. Your smartphone fits in the side zip pocket, where you can also attach your key. The pants have no chamois, you combine them with cycling underwear of your choice.
Available in black, dark blue, gunmetal, light olive, spice and stone, sizes S to 5XL. Like all PROTECTIVE models, the P-Engine 143 is developed in Lower Bavaria.

Insgesamt gut, aber keine Polsterung: Doe Hose war für den Zweck perfekt, es war zum Teil noch zu kalt für eine kurze Hose. Sie sieht auch so gut aus, das man auch problemlos ins Restaurant damit gehen kann. Nur mein Hintern war wegen der nicht vorhandenen Polsterung nicht so begeistert 😉
