In winter your thighs get cold first, they face forward into the wind. That is why the P-Tramp W is padded and wind-repellent at the front and elastic at the back: 3/4 pants for women that you pull over your tights when the tights alone are no longer enough.
Wind-repellent at the front, flexible at the back
The front of 100% polyamide has a polyurethane membrane and a wind- and water-repellent finish. The back panel is made of elastic lightshell with inserts of 90% polyamide and 10% elastane. It stretches with every step and lets heat out when you start to sweat.
Kapok in the padding
The front is lined with FLOCUS, a padding of 70% kapok and 30% polyester. Kapok is the fibre from the fruit of the kapok tree: hollow, light and warming. It warms where the wind hits, without puffing up the pants.
Three layers, one pair of pants
The 3/4 length ends below the knee, with room for high socks or tights underneath. The elastic waistband with drawcord sits over the tights, the zip at the leg opening lets you put the pants on and take them off even over shoes.
Two colours, sizes 36 to 48
The P-Tramp W comes in black and wine, in sizes 36 to 48 with the same cut. The water-repellent finish is PFAS-free. Like all PROTECTIVE models, the P-Tramp W is developed in Lower Bavaria.

FLOCUS (KAPOK)
Kapok: light and soft
Kapok is an exceptionally light natural fibre with a fine hollow-fibre structure. It feels soft and pleasant and, depending on the material construction, can contribute to lightness and comfort. In shirts, kapok provides a light, pleasant feel when worn. In padding, the fibre can contribute to a light and warming material structure.
PFAS-free
PFAS-free means, for the products marked accordingly: no PFAS are used in their manufacture, according to our underlying specification.
